Introduction to programming

Through our impact assessment service, the students showed their interest in promoting this regenerative learning in their educational institutions.

Together with the students we explored Global Objective 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, in particular indicator 9.C that promotes increasing access to information and communications technology. We learned about the impacts of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) on education, the economy (savings), communication (promoting inclusive languages) and agriculture.

The interaction with the students filled us with joy. We realized that they connected with the social, cultural, economic and environmental contexts of their environment and daily life while imagining how programming tools could lead to decision-making for the regeneration of the world around them.

Through our impact assessment service, the students showed their interest in promoting this regenerative learning in their educational institutions, since in these encounters the participation of the students is just as important as the role of the facilitators. For this reason, we learned that carrying out learning that appeals to everyday life can convey the subject in a more impactful way for students.

These testimonies fill us with great motivation to continue evolving and transforming our educational purpose. We enjoy each mission as a feedback trail of knowledge, learnings, stories and anecdotes that impact our life and personal and professional growth. Thank you!

I think the way in which we address issues that are sometimes not addressed in schools is very good. I really like how they simplify everything so that all this information is only in one or two hours, also one does not get bored, it is very striking for that, and also how we as students can dialogue with the teachers, since there are times that only the teacher is speaking the whole class, so this community feels very fulfilling.

In the week I was here I learned that we can develop much more technology and help people who do not have a technological device. Teachers I thank you for this time with me, thank you for being patient and for helping me, see you another time, thank you :)

I find it interesting to connect the students within the current reality, beyond just studying the past. Provide them with tools based on the current situation.

In my school the classes are more serious and without activities. With regenÃœrate I learned subjects which in my school they do not teach. It's more fun.
